We started here because operators have the least reliable information precisely where the financial stakes are highest. Most payment comparisons are written by the providers themselves, or by whoever happens to have a commercial interest in one side of it.
We are open to working with providers commercially, and where such an arrangement exists we say so on the card it applies to. What it does not do is move anyone up: the order of the catalogue and the score on every card come from the same 21 fields, checked the same way. A directory where that stops being true is worth nothing to the operator reading it, which is the only reason anyone would come back.
Every provider entry is built to be checked rather than trusted. Each card carries the same 21 fields, a source for what it claims and the date it was last reviewed, so you can tell the difference between something confirmed this month and something that may be stale. Providers are scored on five weighted criteria, and where a company does not publish something the field says so — a capped score on missing data, never a guess that fills the gap.
The directory is early. It covers a small set of providers while the verification process is built out properly. If you work at a payment provider and want a listing corrected, or you are an operator who can see what is missing, we would rather hear it than get it wrong.
No commercial arrangement moves a provider up the list, and we disclose the ones that exist.
Every claim is tied to where it came from, so you can judge its reliability yourself.
Where we have no verified data we say so, and the score is capped rather than invented.
