What we found

Every other company in this catalogue wants to move your money. Fluid does not want to touch it. It replaces the screen where the player chooses how to deposit, sits on top of whatever gateways you already run, and tries to win back the players who abandon at exactly the moment you have paid the most to acquire them.

Founded in February 2023 by people who came off the operator side, and built for iGaming alone — a focus nothing else here shares. It connects to any gateway and can run several in parallel without a code change, which doubles as uptime insurance: if one route dies, the cashier keeps working. More than fifty operators run on it, and Fluid puts the effect at a 5% lift in deposit conversion and 19% more repeat deposits.

Because Fluid never holds funds, it needs no licence, and the compliance questions that dominate the rest of this catalogue simply do not apply. What matters instead is whether it plugs into your stack and whether the conversion numbers survive contact with your traffic.

Our score

iGaming fit reaches 6.7 — single-vertical focus and named investors lift it, the absence of licensing caps it. Tech takes 5.2 on multi-gateway support with no code change. Commercial terms sit at 2.6: no rate card, only an enquiry form banded by monthly deposit volume.

Five weighted criteria, 1–10. A criterion whose key field the provider does not publish is capped at 6.9 rather than scored on a guess. How we score →

Nothing of its own is published. For a company that routes to third-party acquirers that is ordinary — but your counterparty is somebody else, so ask who, in writing.

The verdict

Look here if your approval rates are healthy but players still abandon at the deposit screen — that is a UX problem and no acquirer will fix it. Not relevant if your problem is declines or coverage. Ask for two operator references at your volume band and how the conversion uplift was measured.

Fluid: common questions

Does Fluid replace my payment provider?

No. It is a cashier layer that sits above the gateways and orchestration you already run, and it works with any of them. Your acquiring relationships stay exactly as they are.

Does Fluid need a payment licence?

No — it never holds or moves funds. That is also why licensing does not appear on this card.

What does Fluid cost?

Private. Enquiries are banded by monthly deposit volume, from under €100K to over €10M, so pricing scales with throughput.
